I'm wanting to send my 16" mrp barrel to have it cut to 10.5", then re profiled to reduce weight.  What is the lightest profile you would recommend for this?  Any idea on weight savings?  I'm looking at a cut/crown, and re profile correct?  What charge would there be to install a surefire sf3p suppressor mount?

I would probably go with a Govt contour. You would just need contour under handguard, and barrel thread. There is no charge to install the SF.
 



I would imagine you would lose approx 8oz.
