I can't believe how fast you got this to me! From YHM's door to yours to mine in less than a week. Holy crap!
YHM 16" CL 7.62x39 barrel cut down by ADCO to 12.5" and threaded to 5/8-24 (YHM uses 1/2-36 which is pretty strange considering the standard for .30 cal is 5/8-24...). I received the barrel this afternoon and put the upper together. A-1 upper, ITS Superbolt, YHM CL 7.62x39 barrel, Armalite clamping FSB and skinny handguards. All thrown on my SBR lower with TUBB flat spring, Spikes ST-T2 buffer, and Geissele SSA trigger. Start to finish in less than an hour then I was out the door to the range. .087 was just right for the gas port. The Wolf would cycle the action, lock the bolt back and only short stroked once. WWB functioned flawlessly as well as Brown Bear 154 gr SP. Prvi 123 gr SPRN will not feed (yet). I need to polish the feed ramps a bit. Ejection pattern was good. Brass looked good after being fired. I will have to play with some hand loads with Barnes 108 gr and see what kind of velocity I can get.
