I have read that CMMG barrels are not the most concentric barrels and there could be concerns using a suppressor with some of their barrels. My questions are: I have a CMMG upper with a 16" barrel that runs like a raped ape, but I am not sure if the threads are concentric and I would like to run a suppressor eventually.
Will ADCO check for concentric threads on CMMG barrels? If the threads are not concentric, can the WASP (nitride) barrels be cut down and re-threaded without ruining the barrel? If the barrel can be cut down and needs to be, it would be less than 16". Can some sort of threaded barrel attachment be permed to bring the length to 16" and still accept a (threaded) can? Thanks for the help! |

yes we can check it, yes we can thread them, to maintain the same length and rethread you would need a thread extension. all these are on our shop services page. http://www.adcofirearms.com/shopservices/ |
