I believe BCM pins the low pro gas blocks on uppers with rails installed.
If I wanted a barrel cut down will the low pro gas block be trashed? Any other issues with this? Im considering having an 11.5" with 10" Larue rail cut to 11" for use with an AAC or Surefire suppressor (used 99% of the time) It will give a more seamless look without a gap between rail and suppressor. (cheaper than 11.5" w/URX II upper, but same idea) I figure gas port size should be good |

I assume you need to take the FSB/Gas block off in order to cut/thread a barrel correct? Im torn between a few setups. I really like the OPS Inc cans, but it will require a shorter rail which I dont like Im trying to keep the rail at 10" minimum and shortest OAL with suppressor |
