[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Permanently Attach Muzzle Device

I hope this isn't a terribly stupid question............ but if I need to send in parts for a permanent muzzle device attachment, and I'm buiding the rifle from the ground up, what is the protocol for shipping in parts? Am I OK simply shipping the barrel with the barrel nut safely taped/padded towards the breach and the gas block clamped on at the gas port? Or do I need to install the barrel to the upper reciever? Thanks so much in advance!

barrel, nut , gas block and muzzle device are all that's needed.

Steve, What is the cost to pin a Rainer Arms XTC muzzle break on a DD 16" barrel? I don't see that break in the drop down list.

Looks a lot like a Blackout, so figure $40.
