I have one of your 1/7 Midweight barrels that you cut from 16" to 14.5, and you also assembled the upper.

The problem I'm having is when I go to extract a live round, I almost always have to ram the buttstock on the ground to extract the round.

This started with Silver Bear and Wolf ammo.  I tried using some brass cased better quality XM193 and the issues still occurs.

When you look at the extracted rounds you can see the rifling a little on the bullet.  The Silver bear actually left the bullets in the bore and had to be forcefully popped out with a cleaning rod from the muzzle.

Is there something that can be done to correct this from happening? Can the throat be reamed or something to that effect?

Thanks.

Did you use a headspace gauge when you mated your BCG with that upper?
