Have you in the past threaded these barrels and if not, do you know if it is possible to properly thread the barrel with the flutes so close to the muzzle?

Also, do you know if the front sight will be able to be moved back and would you do that as well?

I have one on the way and would like to have it threaded IF POSSIBLE.

Thanks.

Threading it should not be a problem, but moving the sight might be. We would have to take a look at it, but, we MAY be able to shorten the sight, to allow it to be moved back without getting into the top flute.

We've done it before.

Some more questions:

A. If the sight can be shortened, but will not align with the original threaded hole in the barrel, will you drill and tap a new hole for the front sight?

B. If I decide not to use the front sight (but use a burris fastfire), can you 1. remove the rear sight from the dovetail  and 2. extend the factory flutes toward the muzzle thus matching the other flutes of the barrel? If the flute is to be extended 3/4" or so, what is the price and what option do I choose on your website?

C. Looking on your website, the threading option only lists ruger mark I's. This is a mark III, would I choose this option anyway?

D. When you thread this barrel, will the threads be sufficient to safely mount and shoot a suppressor, and will the threading cut into the factory flutes?

Thanks

Yers we have to tap a new hole. No we will not reflute it. Yes we thread within 0.0004" concentric. That is well within the specs for any suppressor manufacturer. No problems on the MK III
