Are you guys familiar with the Colt Officers model in .45 ACP and the installation of a reverse recoil spring plug? This type of plug has a shoulder on it with a depth of about 0.1 inches. In order to install this plug, and have the pistol function, the slide must have this depth of material removed from it where the plug fits. The overal amount is about 0.1 to 0.09 inches of material to be removed from the slide.
I can't find anyone who can do this near me. It's pretty simple. Can you guys do this? If it helps I can send you a picture. Thanks. |
