I e-mailed Steve a couple of days ago but never got a reply, so I'll post my questions here...
I have an AR upper that I'd like to send in for you folks to work on. It functions fine, no FTE or FTF, but I'm not getting the accuracy I feel that I should be getting from it. I should have sent the parts to you guys in the first place and saved myself a lot of time, money and frustration... The components are all quality...Larue Stealth upper receiver & free-float tube, White Oak Armament 1-in-7" twist 18" SPR barrel and Smith Enterprise Vortex flash suppressor. It also has only about 200 - 250 rounds through it. I have tried a wide variety of ammunition everything from 5.56 M193 Ball up to and including several different heavy (68gr. - 75gr.) OTM loads but it won't group any better than 3" - 4" at 100 yards. I have shot other similar rifles that are very accurate and I shoot them well enough to know that it's not me. I'd like to send it in and have you guys do what you can with it to get the best accuracy out of it but I'd like your advice on what shop services I should buy up-front from your website. The upper will be coming assembled, so obviously I'll be paying for a disassembly/reassembly. Do you want me to send it in complete with the BCG? Please let me know what you think so that I can get it shipped to you in the next day or two... |
