I have a barrel I am going to send in for work soon.  The barrel previously had a standard FSB installed. (read: It is drilled for pins.)  The work I want done involves  permanent flash hider installation; so, I need you guys to install my gas block.

Looking at a couple options for a GGG gas block.

A) Install this one, as is, with clamp:

B) Install the above and pin like a low-pro.  (Is that possible?  Excessive?)

C) Use the version below and have drilled/installed with taper pins.

Installing the Clamp style will be much cheaper. It runs $90 (FSB Swap) to install the pinned Style.  The pinned style is more secure, but the clamps seem to work well. I don't think there is a lot of advantage to pinning a clamp style on, since it is split, but suppose it might help a little.  So, in my opinoin, either one will work just fine, just comes down to what you like (and want to pay for).
