I am getting a KAC IWS E3 and wanted to know if it is possible for you to cut the barrel from a 16 to a 14.7 with perm flash hider.  It does have a urx and I don't know if you have the tools or if you even need them.  Thanks so much.

I don't see a problem. The thread and perm package should do you just right.

This was a 16" M4gery when I sent it to ADCO and it was returned a 14.7 with perm'd A2 FH.  They installed the LaRue handguard for me as well.  I literally had to look really hard to find where they perm'd the FH they did such a nice job.  ADCO is top notch.

The dog was not included in the package...

The excellent job they do with the welding pinning is why I initially chose them.  It is incredible.  The also do some other things that I like.  I am trying to find vendors that can do alot of things I need done.  It is really starting to piss me off having to send rifles in twenty different directions to get things done.  I think this will be one of my one stop shops.  thanks for all the help.

Are we allowed to shorten the barrel to 14.7" without it being considered a SBR? I was thinking about getting my FH replaced with an A2 perm attached also.

No. 14.7" is the length the barrel is cut too BEFORE the FH is installed and permed. This gives an OAL of 16".

Sorry for the stupid question! How much is it to swap out my old FH for a new one like your Vltor made for a Gemtech Halo?

BTW, the old FH is permanently attached and I would need the new one to be the same.

Remove old FH =$40, New FH =$59, Perm it on = $30, and ship it back = $6 w/ insurance,

Thanks! You are the man! I wish you weren't so far from Columbus, I would have enjoyed driving up there and checking out your store and buying another can for my AR

If you are cutting a 16" down to 14.7" can you reuse the A2 flash hider?

And can a complete upper w/DD omega rails- BCG/charging handle be sent in for the Perm&Thread $80 package with no extra costs?

thanks.

If the FH is not permed on now, yes, it can be reused. Yes, that upper can be sent for the T&P package (don't send BCG & CH with it).
