I have an RRA M4-gergy upper that I bought used with the faux FH pressed onto the end of a 16" barrel.  Is it possible to have the fake FH removed and the barrel threaded or was too much metal taken off the barrel when they put the faux FH on it?

They should be able to do it:

My 16" barrel with the FFH is at Adco right now and in the process of getting an A2 flash hider perm. installed.

Should have it back in a few days.

Maybe Steve could post a pic of it when it is finished?

Cool!  I wasn't able to search back that far (danged 30days limit on the search).

I'm thinking that my upper will be taking a trip in about 3 weeks.  I won't want a FH permanently installed, as I probably won't have the $$ for a FH immediately upon shelling out the dough for the threading.

Is the $56 for labor + s/h or just for the labor with s/h extra?

Were you able to keep the barrel at 16"?  I have two of these uppers that I want to have the fake flash hider removed, the barrel threaded, and an A2 flash hider installed.  I don't want the barrel cut down because I don't want to lose the velocity or have to have a perm. installed flash hider.  I don't care what the barrel contour looks like.  I just want to know if it can be done and done right.  Pics/prices would be awesome.
Thanks,
Steve
