Hey guys. I got a Paraclip for my AK and it keeps opening up on me. The AKs sling loop is pretty skinny and seems to be providing leverage on the paraclip when slung across my back to open( freaked me out when the AK dropped unexpectedly off my back ). When locked the Paraclip opens just enough to slip through the sling loop, Is this a normal thing ? I can bust out a file and take off some of the material on the clip to see if it will make it stop but I wanted to make sure the clip I have wasn't faulty before permanently altering it.
I can get pictures if needed |
| How skinny is the sling loop on your AK? All of my MS3/MS3 QD slings when locked do not allow any clearance for "unexpected deployment" off your back. Not even a paperclip could slip through the paraclip once its locked on all of my slings. Where did you buy yours? Ebay, Amazon? Possible fake? |

It was ordered through amazon so I guess it could be a fake ( hoping that's not the case). Its not to skinny. Im guessing the leverage the loop puts on it when slung could have partially broke it as it does "kinda" lock. I'll admit that I didn't mess with it to much before putting on the rifle so I can't say whether it was doing that before it was attached. I suppose some pics might help. I'll try and get those up when. I get home. |
