I hope it doesn't take forever to get a case. I'm due to upgrade and my iPhone 4 is getting kinda long in the tooth. It is safe to assume we will have an iphone 6 case but unfortunately we do not have the pull with Apple that some others have and so we have to wait till the phone is actually released before we can finish any design for production |

I'm looking forward to getting one too. I pre-ordered the regular iPhone 6 this morning (the 6 Plus would be ridiculously big to haul around), so I'm anxiously awaiting a MagPul case for it. They've done a great job protecting 2 of my iPhones already Same! Preordered this morning and came here to check out their forum. I'll be waiting... |
| I kept putting off getting a case for the 5 waiting on Magpul to release theirs. A few weeks in I dropped the 5 on asphalt and buggered the power button. For the last 2 years I cannot restart the phone without connecting it to power. I so hope we can get the 6 cases before I drop it. |
|
Is it odd that I actually waited to upgrade to a 5 until Magpul released a case for it?
Also, speaking of that, iPhone 5 cases seem to stretch lengthwise over time, while the 4 model didn't. I hope this won't be a problem with the 6 model, but with the phone getting even thinner I almost expect it to come up again. |

I've noticed in the last week or two that mine has stretched out some too. It's getting harder to hit the power button - I have to press further back to shut the screen off. |

At the end of my iPhone 5's life I had swapped back to my cheap case because of the stretching. I've already picked up my cheap case for my 6 but I'm seriously torn over the stretching issue. This new cheap case is too slick. But I don't want another magpul case if it's going to stretch. Mine had gotten so bad when I'd pull it out of my pocket the case I. The top would pop off. |

Picked up my iPhone 6 last night. This needs a Magpul case ASAP!
I looked at all the other offerings at the ATT store and the Body Glove case felt similar in material. I may go with the Pelican case for the time being and when I feel I need more protection like when camping or something. |
I'm a case whore..who isn't? Been rocking the Magpul case for the better part of a year and a half on my 5. My 6 should be here in about a week and I bought a Spigen Air Cushion to tide me over. Also pre ordered a Seidio Convert case and iloome edge to edge 9H glass screen protector. Hopefully the Magpul cases come soon. I haven't had any issues with my 5 case stretching out over time. It softened up a bit, became more....maleable (sp?) but no issues with it being loose. Dropped my 5 numerous times from waist height onto concrete floors. One time the whole screen dislodged from the phone but I just pushed it back in and it's been fine. And when I say dislodged I mean the screen was on and I could see light shining between the actual aluminum frame and back of the screen. ![]() Thing I love about the magpul cases are the price, and it is just the right amount of compromise between protection and slimness. Coupled with the fact, it's Magpul, and that's like stamping your man card to your forehead every day of the week.

I received this case from Amazon yesterday.
It was under $10 when I bought it and now it's $18 Crazy Amazon variable pricing.
It seems like a pretty good substitute until Magpul releases theirs. |
|
I found it interesting the number of people that are not shooters and don't own any other magpul products that bought a case for the 5. I know of a bunch.
Sadly some of them had the stretch issue and will no longer buy one for the 6. Mine also stretched but it is serviceable. The phone should be here any day now and will have to live in a cheap Spigen case until Magpul releases theirs. |

Im waiting for the iphone 6 case too! Cant beat em, i just grabbed a spigen slim armor until they come out. But magpul cases are by far the best bang for your buck case out there True, except for the part where you have to drop $10 or more on a temporary case until Magpul is able to get theirs out But
still worth every penny. |

Really guys? This is sad..... 13'ers…. Get over yourself. Heed your own advice smart guy. I've been coming to this site since I was old enough to own ar15s in 2005. I only joined in 13 because I had amassed enough crap, and money, to do some trading and selling. But, since I joined in April, that somehow means that I am a lower quality member of this site. It's surprising the amount of bullshit people pedal. I'm merely trying to bring attention consumerism disease that has plagued everyone. The phone wasn't even released when threads started popping up. It's freaking sad to see the firearm industry being consumed by the mindless marketing. Magpul, makers and designers of very effective firearm parts, and the phone cases get a front row spot on their home page. Its a phone, nothing more. If you pay 600$ for a new phone, there's a problem with your prerogatives. You end up with the same phone company, paying outrageous bills, but just need the latest and greatest every freaking year. But yet, you don't get insurance to protect your 600$ investment? I'm not dogging on the product, but just the craze over it. They are phones people. Phones that happen to have Internet and video games. It's 2014, and people are more worried about what they can clip on their phone than the fact they are paying out the ass for extremely fragile glass and plastic. Which becomes worthless on a sweaty work day, or after being caught in the rain, or a dunk in the toilet. Unless of course you spend another 150$ for a water proof case. So, you can go fuck yourself with that 13 you are fixated on so much. Magpul, the hard hat idea is still much better. I'm sure you would sell more hard hats than phone cases. No offense, but there are a ton of better cases to choose from. Unless you only care about superficial things like visual appeal. You could steal the reign from MSA. Then roll in the big bucks. |
There are better phone cases than the magpul case, but not in the 12-15 range. Magpul prices their cases where they should. In all reality I would pay $30 for a magpul case just for the fact it is made in the USA and sold by a company that is willing to move out of CO. (Magpul please don't raise your prices to $30)

Oh please. Next you'll be raging against the consumerism in people buying SUVs when there are so many better compact cars out there. Or people who don't buy BCM. Just let people make their own decisions about what they want to buy and worry about yourself. |

I do support the site, through buying whatever I need through the links up top. If they don't getbkickbacks from that, not myproblem. I don't need an avatar, or be part of giveaways or anything like that. I have no demand for the supply of "team membership".
I support magpul as well. But you're right, I don't support the iPhone and never will. Its hype built around old technology. All these phones are, I'm not bitching about capitalism. I'm simply bringing notice to the demand of pointless products. Sure if you wanna waste your money, go ahead. It's a free country. Which is the same reason I voice my opinion. And welcome anyone who wishes to voice there's. That's the beauty of this country. You have every right to bitch about whatever you want, at the same time, you have every right to ignore other's opinions. But, you have no right to tell me or anyone else not to express their opinions simply because they don't agree with yours. That's not very American, and actually makes you more of an asshole than me. Support whatever you want, in any fashion you want. But don't try to tell other people what and what not to do. I never said you shouldn't do anything, just pointed out the stupidity of your choices. Then you attack my credibility based on a number next to a screen name. I apologize, I'm not hung up on gold stars, avatars, and "team member" status. The way you act, which is high and mighty ignorant, certainly doesn't persuade me to want to join any team you are part of. God forbid someone voice an opinion that doesn't match up with the majority!!!! "Screw that guy! He joined at a different date than us! That makes him stupid! He doesn't have a gold star, so he can't be cool like one of us! " ![]()
