I have 6 Gen 3 Mags with Windows that don't seem to seat properly in my mag well.  I can get them to lock in with a hit from Thor's Hammer but with a simple push in they don't stay empty or loaded.  I noticed first in my new rifle, Spikes lower/LMT 10.5 MRP upper and they also act up in my Sig 556.  However, the old Gen 2 mags I have work perfectly every time.  Any reason as to why that is?

If its happening on multiple platforms what is anybody on here going to fix???

Why wouldn't you call Magpul's tech department first????????

I would look at the rear travel limiter on the magazine. Most likely this is the area that is causing the issue as the limiter is on the front of the M2.

Not a very common issue but contact our tech support and they will see what they can do to resolve the situation.

get out your dremel. magpul screwed the pooch with the tab on the rear, you have to file it down

If he is just looking for help, what's wrong with asking here first? Generally, these forums get you info quicker than waiting for MFGs to respond. They have to deal with tons of requests, complaints, questions etc.

It's always a good idea to ask here first to see if it's something you can fix yourself. No point in adding more burden on customer service if you don't need too.

So many people on this site complain about the most stupid shit.

OP, sorry I can't help. I only have 2 windowed Gen 3s and they both work fine in my two rifles. But, as both magpul and another poster said, if it's just the limiter causing you issued, take a razor blade or file to it. Anytime ANYONE releases a new product, there will ALWAYS be bugs they did not and/or could not find. Sometimes you have to wait until the masses get ahold of your product. Final testing is always done at the customer level.

Just had to put that out there before someone complains about magpul releasing a faulty product. Which they haven't.
