[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Height of MBUS Pro

Are these sights "standard height" so that a MBUS pro rear will line up with a standard FSB, or are they shorter? They look a little shorter to me, so I was just curious.

They are exactly standard AR sighting plane height. Because of the way they integrate with the base, they may appear shorter, but they are indeed designed to work with standard fronts.

What about the front sight? Does it take standard front sight posts? Or is it proprietary?

It does not take standard front posts; because the elevation adjustment is tool-less, it is proprietary.

There is more info in the above thread about the sights. Richard commented they were getting a set out to me, as soon as it arrives AND I'm cleared to released pictures, I will.
