Ok, Magpul, when are they comin' out?! |

Quoted: Stick to what you make the best- Gun parts. My .02 I dunno, the orange iPhone 4 case I've been using is pretty nice. Not sure what my iPhone 5 will live in after I get it - choosing a case is tough. Maybe Magpul should make a stock with an iPhone compartment on the side

| I've had probably 5-6 or the MagPul cases for various 4's/4Ss. I've noticed they "sweat" goo all over the back of the phone. And, of course, they start to spread around the top left corner. Hopefully on the 5 case, they can use a slightly more rigid rubber and slightly thinner design. This phone's a LOT lighter and needs slightly less protection if dropped IMO. |

best phone case I've ever owned, hands down. just tacky enough, just slick enough, just thin enough(thanks to brilliantly clipping to the side and not the screen) to be comfortable, just thick enough to be protective. and at $10, I'd prolly buy two.
Magpul, please follow up with iphone 5 case. |

i have had great luck with the iphone 4 exec field case and hope to see an iphone 5 case. i shot it to make a hole so the apple logo would show through the case but it looked bad so i cut a circle with an exacto knife and it looks nice..
if anyone form magpul is reading: maybe cut out the case where the chrome apple logo is so a shiny magpul logo appears? just sayin... |

I set my phone down on wet surfaces, and an opening on the back would make the case a no-go. Never looked at the magpul iPhone case as a waterproof or even water resistant case but I suppose I could just cut the new one too, If they make it. |

Problem with that is there is a new Droid phone coming out every few months. Yeah even though I have a Samsung Galaxy SII I don't think Magpul should come out with a case for it. WAY too many android devices to cater too. To me the phone case thing seems like more of a small side thing anyway. I don't think Magpul is really looking to be competitive in the phone case market. For those looking for a good case for androids though check out otterbox. I love mine. They are a little pricey but with a good screen protector and an otterbox the phone is REALLY well protected. |

+1 on the IP5 case!!! I'm running a Speck case while I wait. From the looks of the Speck it probably offers as much protection as the previous Magpul cases but the case is super smooth and provides almost no grip. I was contemplating stippling it but I'll just wait for the Magpul case. |

I agree that Magpul needs cases for Android phones too BUT as it was pointed out, they come out with a new phone every few weeks.
I think the key to making cases for the Android devices would be for Official Google Nexus phones like the upcoming Nexus 4. No way they could do cases for even all the other popular phones. I think Magpul should consider cases for the Nexus 4 and the two tablets, the Nexus 7 and 10. These are the official Google devices. |

Lifeproof's cases are due out in a few weeks. Far superior. Quite thin. Waterproof and crush proof. People have accidentally driven over the phones in the Lifeproof cases and they still work. I don't need a $70 to hell and back case. I just want an inexpensive bumper shell. |

Get the Otterbox Defender Meh...too bulky. Kinda defeats one of the main purposes of the 5...slimmer, lighter than previous Iphones... I like my Otter Defender http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd145/drsalee/2AFD8717-2C3F-4653-B879-9C880ED6BBAE-10404-0000051BDFE61642.jpg Clearly.

Just so everyone knows, I emailed Magpul about a month ago regarding this and this is the email they sent me back:
Thank you for contacting us. It is definitely something we are going to do but we just got the dimensions for the case last week so we are just now getting started in the whole process. Keep an eye on our website for more info.

I got an Otterbox Defender, but I only use it for camping. I can't bring myself to put a bulky case on my iPhone 5... I kind of liked the Otterbox, but I'll never purchase another case through them again. My car has a 30 pin connector, which I got the short adapter from Apple. The hole on the bottom of the Defender looks like it was made for it, but when it is attached, the plastic actually bulges out. Also, the belt clip began to rip the rubber bumper. So, I emailed them about it, being it seems that the case might be defective. I don't know how old the guy was that answered me, but I was under the impression that he was 12... from the attitude. From someone that bought multiple iPhone 4 cases from them, and pre-ordered the iPhone 5 case, I was shocked by the response I received. When I could get the LifeProof case, I ordered it. Also picked up the wired adapter to work with the LifeProof case (would not work at all with the other adapter) and another USB cord to make a car charger (with a cigarette adapter). I'm extremely happy with the LifeProof case, even though a belt clip is something I really need with a case. It should be released early 2013. |
