Im buying a Magpul rifle length handguard whats the shortest rail length I can buy to put a AFG on the handguard,  L2, L3, L4, L5?

Any of them will hold it on, but the AFG itself covers about 12 slots, so the longer the rail piece used, the more stable it will be. I would use the L5.
