Being the SGA line will be released in the near future, I wanted to get some ideas on ways to incorporated more ammo into it...
Currently, I have a 870 Police (my home defense gun), with a six round side-saddle. I'm adding a picture, but the only other change was a M3X that I have on a Streamlight mount. I also have a six round shell holder, which I added to the traditional two-point sling for some additional rounds (different from what I keep in the gun and what is in the side-saddle).
Now, there are going to be some changes when the Magpul stuff is released. The light will be mounted on the right side of the forend with a short rail. Opposite that, I will add a MSA mount, so I can go from two point to one point off the SGA receiver mount (one of my main reasons for going with the SGA, being I never liked my sling setup). But with that, I lose the additional six rounds.
I am a little hesitant on mounting anything on the stock, being I like the ability to use it left handed (not a fan of those Velcro strips, either). I also don't need an additional six rounds, just want at least two more in another position as a different choice. In regards to slings, I’m tossed between the MS3 and the Urban ERT... if there is a belt option that can be attached to either of the slings. Mainly, I’m looking for it to be all contained on the shotgun... as in grab and go.
Any input will be appreciated.
