I have had my Commercial spec CTR for a few years now, but it has always had some wiggle to it, but I always just ignored it. It isn't bad by any means, but it is starting  to bug me now. So my question is, is normal to have "some" wiggle to it? I guess I always thought that one of the benifits to the CTR was how rock solid the fit was. Are the Mil Spec ones tighter? Is my Buffer Tube to blame?

thanks,
Tony.

It may be due to the commercial RE - there apparently is a lot of variation with these.  My milspec CTR on a BCM RE is solid.

Thanks for the info. I would like to get the new ACS L when it's available in fde or o.d, so maybe  I'll just get a Mil Spec tube at that time.

Is say that my mil-spec ctr will move a little.  Not as much as my now but it does move a little bit.

I had two that both wiggled. On one I took it a part and bent the tabs that tighten it when locked and the other I fixed with electric tape on the tube. Both fixes worked well for no wiggle.
