As amazing as that sounds...  Yes, my CTR on my coyote rifle had become loose.  Not sloppy loose.  Just kind of annoyingly loose.  In hopes of solving this problem, I drove out the roll pin holding the "lock" to the stock body.  Inside I found a small steel insert that creates the clamping effect on the receiver extension.  One of the ears had broken off.  The piece was still there but the lock was rendered partially ineffective due to the break.

Hey Magpul!!  Would it be possible to buy just the little metal part so I can fix my CTR?  Yes...  Money IS that tight right now so a new one is out of the question.  I see what would be involved with the fix and I think it's doable even with my very basic knowledge of polymers.

Please help!
