Anyone can tell me how to adjust the front sight post on the front MBUS?  I don't see a front detent like on a regular A2 front sight.  I need to move my point of impact 2 inches up.

Thanks,
Kevin

The front sight post is threaded and screws in and out of the front sight base. It comes with a roll pin that you put in place once you have it zeroed.

I don't think the roll pin is in there.  Is it in the hole that is behind the Front sight post?

And what is the best way to turn it? I was using a round to try to turn it and it wasn't turning

The Pin doesn't come IN the FSP, it comes WITH it.

Use needle nose pliers?

With a front sight tool.

What the front MBUS desperately needs (IMO) is some kind of "crush washer" underneath the front post... it's just too cheap looking with the front sight just sticking out of the plastic.

It came with two pins, a shorter and longer one...

I agree.  It does work and I haven't had the need to use the roll pins that are included in the box.  The pictures I've seen of the Gen II (I think they were in the catalog) have a more typical FSP with detent.

I usually gnaw on it with my teeth until it's set... gotta make the noises and use a lot of drool to do it right.
Might not be the "suggested" way to do it but it keeps people from bugging you while you're at the range.

Front sight tools are as little as $5 and since it sounds like you lost your set pin, I'd suggest getting one. I keep one in my MIAD grip with a Jolly rancher, firing pin & rolled up piece of sandpaper. Can't cram much beef jerky in a MIAD... guess that's why Magpul put those cheek tubes on the ACS... those hold those monster Slim Jim's perfectly AND that storage little trapdoor thingy holds several MRE Tabasco bottles & a couple BC powders!!
Lot'sa thought put into those products!
