hey, just got my set of mbus( front and rear). question on front adj. is the post screwed in randomly at the factory or is it set at a pre-determined range? i want to shoot it in this weekend and i want to start out at somewhere between 75-100yds. don`t want to waste any ammo from the beginning if i do not have to. any help here? thanks! if anyone from magpul wants to chime in ,please do!

For as different as each gun can be, the front sight isn't going to be dialed into any range.

You can always bore sight the irons as a starting point.

was going to do that . didn`t know if there was a stating point pre set or not. thanks.

FWIW, the closer to the target you can start sighting in, the less ammo you are likely to waste..
