| Did anyone who purchased a Magpul AFG come with a 7/64 hex key? Mine didnt, and I do not like the finger shelf in the middle of the grip at all. I checked in all of my other parts kits I have in my gun room and none of the hex keys fit. So I gotta go pick up one I guess, but I was wondering if I just got hosed or did none of the grips come with this hex key? |

The AFG does not come with a hex key. Also, included in the package is a straight insert if you don't like the finger nub. Well the BAD lever came with one, and it might be a good idea to have one with the AFG. True, but the BAD Lever uses a Torx screw and those wrenches are a little more specialized. We could include a hex key with the AFG, or even a flat-head screwdriver for the mounting bolt, but the more pieces you add to a product the more expensive it is going to be. 
A 7/64" hex wrench is not too uncommon and, unless you are going to swap out the finger shelf, you don't have to mess with the hex screws anyway to install the AFG. |

The funny thing is my original post was a question not a complaint, but I guess the California Troll, and you must of missed that. I did get the hex key. The purpose of the post was to ask a question, because I got my AFG for a 3rd party not Magpul directly. So keep Trolling.

However, the amusing thing about this thread, is that upon the slightest challenge to the premise that Magpul should provide everyone with everything for every contingency, you went nuclear, busting out your collection of saved jpgs that you use when your feelings get tweeked online instead of actual argument or discussion. Further, the definition of a thug is "a cruel or vicious ruffian, robber, or murderer," and frankly, it is fairly difficult to fulfill that through a cat 5 cable. This whole thread seems like a troll thread, because I was incredulous that someone would consider this important enough to waste everyone's time with a thread this pointless- when I saw "AFG question," I thought it may be something that I could help with, since I have been running one for several months- but no, just another ineffectual thread on arfcom that provides no meaningful information to the community at large with regard to actually using a weapon. I suppose I have wasted enough time here, and it has been fun, but seriously, quite being so sensitive, take a chill pill, and just buy a freaking allen wrench already. I am from Oakland I went to Oakland Technical High School. Yes we called it Cali. And I was asking a question about why it didnt come with a hex key, because other Magpul Items I purchased from Magpul had them. I got the AFG from a non forum sponsor so I asked to make sure I didnt get f*cked over. Not to have some angry little troll say mindless banter and meaningless responses.

How exactly does not getting a free allen wrench constitute getting "f*cked over?" Even if it was supposed to be in the package... would you say you got f'd out of an allen wrench, even though you ordered an AFG, not an allen wrench? As for "angry", I see it in your posts, mine are all in lighthearted fun, "little"- hardly. I don't get too upset over the internet, see this whole thread is "meaningless," that is why you get meaningless responses. | No I said I thought the company I bought the AFG from might of taken it out. I did not know the item does not come with one most products you buy will supply one to adjust it. So the whole point of the topic was to ask if one came with it. Then the trolling started which happens a lot on this forum. You cant get a straight answer without some angry walmart greeting troll commenting and harassing other members. |
