Honest question, no disrespect intended.
Is four business days after they receive a return for exchange, without a response or acknowledgement, normal? As stated earlier, no disrespect intended, I'm just curious. Tim |

Yes, actually I did call CS. What's the point in leaving a message if it's going to be several days before I get a call back?
Don't get me wrong, the exchange of MOEs is a blessing (if it occurs after inspection). I certainly would not expect this from an ordinary company, this speaks of "Above and Beyond". Thank you, Tim Edit to add: I did only e-mail Justin 10 hours ago. Perhaps I'm being a bit impatient. |

If I had to guess I'd say they are probably the most in demand manufacturer of after market AR parts. They also make parts as OEM for some manufacturers on select rifles. Then they're working with Bushmaster/Remington on the ACR. They've probably go some more projects going on as well. Oh and don't forget the massive surge in the AR market as a result of the elections. Yeah, I'd say they're pretty busy. |

I called and talked to them today, they have always been pretty good about taking calls in my experience. Stick, your on their caller ID VIP list. I've had decent experience with CS. Had my PMAG cover break and they sent a few replacement. Got to me a few weeks late just because they accidently didn't put enough postage on it. I paid the missing postage twice because they had to send out the PMAG cover again since I called them about it before the first set arrived. |

So let's review:
1) Poster has panties in wad because he didn't receive a special, handwritten card from Drake to announce that he received the return, was personally packaging the exchanged item and all of Magpul hadn't stopped what they are doing to take care of this one particular order. 2) Poster not able to recognize that the entire gun industry is just starting to come out of an unprecedented period of extreme overload post November 2008 elections and are, in fact, busy. 3) Poster sprints to internet to post his whining complaint that all of Magpul didn't drop to their knees to send him handwritten note to say "we got your stuff and are working on it" 4) Poster apparently didn't leave a message with customer service. I guess he expected them to read his mind and just know they wanted them to call. 5) Poster passive-aggressive about not getting an email back from Justin in the same day as sent. Seriously.....disrespect intended.....stop it. |

First, allow me to say a sincere "Thank you" to those who provided me with the information I was seeking.
You see, I am the I.T. Manager for a multi-location (10 locations + corp HQ), International Truck & Engine Corporation dealership. I know what kind of CS&S to expect from NCPI, hardware, software, etc... vendors. That's my world. I don't know CS&S in this one. This is the reason for my question (although poorly stated it seems). Now, for those of you sitting behind your keyboard in your over sized motorized scooter, eating cheesy-poofs, stewing because the smallest athletic supporter in the store was still much too large; I have been properly chastised by the prowess of your linguistic capabilities and over-powering reasoning abilities. I was, until this point, going to join this forum as a paying member... But, as always, a vocal minority detracts too greatly from an otherwise sound forum. Tim (will give you his contact and GPS coord's anytime and promisies not to bring his keyboard) Hager |

Tim (will give you his contact and GPS coord's anytime and promisies not to bring his keyboard) Hager Sir, I salute you. Your response was nothing but win. I will be looking for an excuse to use your comment about athletic supporters at work today. Honestly, he was asking a question and did it politely. Anyone that was here a few months ago has heard me spew vitriol (as evidenced HERE) when people starting complaining that their calls were answered before they dialed, complaining that they couldn't find a single PMag anywhere, complaining that their stuff hadn't shown up yet because everything was backordered. HAS-15 was at least polite about it and asked an honest question instead of criticising Magpul's CS. |

As I had suspected, heard, and now experienced, Magpul's CS&S is second to none.
A BIG and sincere "Thank you" goes out to Justin and all of the Magpul staff that make this a superior company to deal with. Also, I'm glad that they are this busy. It equals job security in an uncertain market and evidences a superior, in-demand product. Also, again, a sincere thank you to all those who answered my question and defended me from "The Big Meanies". Tim |
