The MBUS are the first set of BUS I have ever worked with.  I bought an A2 sight adjustment tool from PK so that I could sight them in.  My problem is that the tool doesn't seem like it's able to fit over the sight? Like the flat part of the sight post with the 4 notches is too wide to fit inside of the tool.  The 4 ears on the tool won't fit the four notches on the sight.  The sight's notches look to be somewhat rounded while the tool is squared.

What should I do?

I used needle nose pliers.

I know, I'm cheap.

+1.  Needle-nose pliers work, as do some types of hemostats (sp?...the surgical instruments like some people use for fly fishing/tying, etc.).

+2 for the pliers.  I think the sight tool is only really needed to depress the sping pin on a standard BUIS and help turn it.  The MBUS doesn't have that so pliers work fine.

The tip of a 5.56 round will also work.

Push down the detent and rotate the sight base using the tip of the round.

Is that a joke or...did you not read the original post?

I have a double star branded front sight tool and it worked fine.
