I know you are supposed to use the snap on feedlip caps.
BUT! What are the draw backs on storing loaded mags? How can you carry them in a tac vest or chest rig? ENLIGHTEN ME! |

There isn't any down side to storing them loaded. The dust covers actually help by taking the pressure off the feed lips.
As far as carrying in a tac vest - I guess you could still leave the dust covers on, but it would defeat the purpose of wearing a tac vest. If you are suited up to go into battle (or a 3 gun shoot) I would think you would want to remove the dust covers prior to placing the mags in the tac vest. |
