I'm still experimenting with my MS2 sling; I like the idea of a single point sling for fighting and a two point sling for carrying - all in one package.

Right now, I'm using a QD sling ring attached to my LaRue rail as my front attachment point when I configure the MS2 in 2 point mode, but I'm less than satisfied with this arrangement.  The MS2 and ASAP are made for each other - an elegant design - whereas using the QD as the front attachment point - though servicable - does not seem as secure to me (a snap hook attached to a QD ring is one too many parts designed for easy 'on-off' to my mind).

I understand that some users are adapting the Dieter CQD front mount for the MS2 - how's this working?  I've read that some modification is necessary to make this work, but I'm a bit unclear on what needs to be done.

I'm curious to hear what people are using and how it's working out.  What else is out there besides the Dieter and QD sling ring arrangements?

Though I know MagPul is tight lipped about future products, a front mount designed from the ground up to work with the MS2 is an obvious addition to the catalog.   Welcome any insights that the MagPul crew is ready to share.

I'm using the Dieter and no modification was necessary.

I am using the CQD. I opened up the loop a bit since it got snaged every once and a while. and I liked the look of it when it was cut in half so I cut the Q right down the middle. repainted it and it is good to go. I used a dremel tool to do it.

I have no idea how to post a pic If anyone knows send me your E-mail and I will send you the pics and you can post them. I am sure my mod is not as good as some folks can do but it works. I am sure if you have a little skill (un like me) you can make it look alot better

I run it like this -in front: KNS pivot sling mount, KND QD sling swivel.  In the back, ASAP.  Easy to switch between,  You can utilize the ambi ASAP in 2 pt in this config, though tight.

This has some rubberized elec. tape that is really cool.  Doesn't adhere untilit has been stretched.

ETA: there may be some small benefit to keeping the tension of th sling off the upper/barrel when shooting, but if there is most likely small.

Well this is my first attempt to post a pic hopefully it work. As I said someone with some skill with the dremel could most likely do a better job then this or at least make it look a little smother

Works fine and the price can't be beat. It binds a little sometimes but I don't really notice.
