Me, me! *ahem* "As for now we are not releasing any information on products that may or may not be in the works. We're always looking for new ways to improve on existing products and explore the boundaries of new ideas. Thanks." |

I asked this very same question a few months ago and all I got was a few stupid answers stating that the "market is already flooded with VFG's so why should Magpul make one". Troy Ind. just released a new VFG. Seems Troy doesn't mind flooding the market.

We never said we would never make one.... You personnaly didn't say it, but another Magpul rep did. I'd love to see where you saw that. Oh, for the record, everyone together now.... "I can neither confirm nor deny the possibility that we may or may not be considering thinking of conducting a study into the potential of working on an initial design of a prototype that may or may not be evaluated for possible production at some later, undetermined, date.
Maybe." There, is that detailed enough for you all? |

The FUG is the best No... The TangoDown with the throw lever is if you have a Surefire or Insight lighting system on your gun. FUG requires Velcro (...yuck) or rubber bands (..double yuck) to secure the pressure switch. Getting rid of both was worth twice the price for the TD grip. Also I don't care for the broomed out bottom cap option for the FUG. Crowds the fingers too much. LaRue makes good stuff, but the FUG isn't one of their better designs. |

I'll second this but I usually don't use the whole grip, so the short vertical/stubby grip is easily the best.
I'm a recent convert to the cult of quick detach, especially with the Tango Down grips, oh god...horrible to take off using the dual spring lock system. |

What about a package that comes with say eight 1/2 inch body pieces, an end piece, and a top piece. It allows the user to customize for the size and style they like, without having to produce and sell multiple grips. You could either do some sort of screw like, or locking like mechanism. I don't know, just an idea, seems like it would be a Magpul product though.
*I am seeing XTM style marketing where yall would use every single color on one ugly looking grip, just so that we can finely see that they can be combined. |

Whats wrong with the cut up inner tube to secure the pressure pad? This is a true KISS system. Yeah, what kind of lifespan are you getting for your innertube? I got tired of the dry rot causing the "KISS" system to fail. Even worse is the adhesive backed Velcro. The slot cut in to the TD grip for the switch is a true "KISS" solution. When they adopted the throw lever system, perfection was achieved. |

You and your Kiss Method! I tll ya,... Im gonna change you yet!.... Travis you may well change my mind with the BAD. I'm new to the ambi - KISS system. Started with a 5.5lb rifle and turned it into a 11.5lb heavy. Started removing stuff from the Montrose Queen (Their is a story there) as time went on. Started with the nasty assed velcro, got tired of the sticky dying and becoming moe goo than sticky. Ended up with the Inner tube. My needs have expanded. Now I run visble surefires and take them off and put IR lasers on the rail. I used to have VFGs on each weapon, now I have one or two that go from weapon to weapon. I would like to see a MagPul VFG becasue Magpul seems to consistently make a better mousetrap.. That said, for what I use it for, i.e. extreme armchair commando-ing, wishful thinking and 3 gun, I really like my Larue Tactical FUG. |

Youll like the BAD, I designed my own and just started using it at the range this past week....it's really slick. |
