I'm sure that this question has been asked before, but why not make some AK stuff?
Mabye make versions of the MOE grip & handguard along with a better stock? I think I know what you'll post: "As for now we are not releasing any information on products that may or may not be in the works. We're always looking for new ways to improve on existing products and explore the boundaries of new ideas. Thanks." And that's fine, I don't blame you guys at Magpul for keeping things under your hat. I'd do the same thing. I just thought I'd throw the idea out there. ––ETA–– Another idea. Make a handguard that would work on a Saiga without any mods. Mabye make it with a top handguard that would snap onto the gas tube that they put on the Saigas. It would help those converting Saiga rifles while giving them 1 US part for their parts count. |

Lets see.
1. There is far more demand for the existing products than they can currently meet. 2. They already have more products coming to market in th enear future. 3. Is it an arena they can compete in on a cost effective basis. 4. The search function is your friend and this has been asked and answered a dozen times. |

I don't doubt that either. 3. I think so, I would much rather have Magpul stuff on my AKs than Tapco. Then again I have no idea how much this stuff costs to make. 4. I tried but was probably using the wrong search terms. If the ARFCOM search engine would allow 2 letter sreach terms, I could've just entered AK & searched the Magpul forum. Oh well............ |
