I have a 6 pos m4 stock. I want a Magpul MOE or CRT. When I bought my old stock I was told is was a non branded RRA. The quality looked good but there is some side to side play in it, also the castle nut is not real dark black any more (it almost looks blued). The tube is also not as black as my lower receiver. I am now beginning to wonder if it is an RRA stock or not. That being said should I get a new milspec buffer tube kit + a MOE. Or should I just get a commercial CRT and hope my current commercial tube is quality. I want it to fit tight but I don't want to spent a lot of money either. |

As this is the Magpul industry forum I'm guessing he wants a Magpul stock. OP I would get a mil-spec tube and CTR stock. I like the friction lock and QD on the CTR. You might have better luck selling your current stock and tube on the EE if you keep them together.. |
