Magpul, what is the possibility of getting a run of these done in the orange polymer like you guys have done for Pmags?
I like these things and they are handy as hell for training but trying to find black ones in the dark, on the ground or under the couch is annoying at best. Thanks, Ek |

Thanks, Ek I had the same thought earlier today! I'm in for some so if Magpul has a list of things to build if Pmag production ever slows down...please look into these! Thanks Wes |

I can't wait for Dr. Drake to chime in here and say: "As for now we are not releasing any information on products that may or may not be in the works. We're always looking for new ways to improve on existing products and explore the boundaries of new ideas. Thanks." I HAVE FAITH THAT SOME DAY DRAKE WILL SHOCK US ALL BY COMING ON HERE AND POSTING PHOTO'S OF ALL OF THE GEAR WE KEEP ASKING ABOUT. IT WILL BE NOTHING BUT THE PICTURES AND HE'LL SET THE POSTS UP TO ROLL OUT WITH IN SECONDS OF ONE ANOTHER SO IT'S A MAD STORM OF NEW GEAR BEING RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC EYE IN ONE FELL SWOOP. Wes |

I am in for a few in orange or so. I love Magpul stuff too, but if you need them now, HERE are some brass cased dummies with orange polymer. I use them for failure drills and function testing. |
| I spoke to Magpul at SHOT and the problem with the dummy rounds is that the mold for the dummy round is a part of another items mold. This other item isn't made in orange so no go...however they were considering making a seperate dummy round mold and doing them in other colors. |

You guys mean like this?
ORANGE SAF-T-TRAINERS We got a set in .30-06 for me to practice loading my M1 and a set in .38 for my wife to practice with her revolver. |

What are these dummy rounds for??? I know, sounds like I am the dummy but please enlighten me... A number of different reasons. Malfunction/stoppage drills: You and your friends can load each others magazines and include a few of these polymer training rounds randomly throughout. You'll never know when you are going to have a failure to fire as you don't know where the dummy rounds are inserted so you can react properly, i.e., "Tap, Rack, Bang." You can also use the dummy rounds when teaching a newbie how to operate a particular firearm. Checking function of a firearm without using live ammo. |

Bought some of those for my shotgun to practice loading, they only lasted about five cycles before chunks of rim started falling off. I'd imagine the magpul polymer stuff will withstand much more thant the safety trainer rounds, if the durability of the pmags is any indicator. PTK |

I have these, and they work great... used them for quite a few classes, hold up well, and you can buy them in small quanitites...
