i noticed in alot of the masada pics, the FDE color sometimes looks like a whitish, then some times a gold, then sometimes brown, then sometimes tan, does anyone know what color, or have a pic of what color the final product will look like in FDE when it comes out for sale?

Expect it to look the same shade as all other Magpul FDE products.

The variation you see from picture to picture is caused by differences in lighting.  Different lighting and different forms of camera flash can greatly affect the way FDE shows up in digital photos.

The point of FDE is also that it seems to look like the colors of its background (within reason), but mostly is it the lighting.

FDE in photos can also be affected by the ambient light (fluorescent, sodium vapor, incandescent, etc.) as well as the camera itself. Film taken to a processor, then scanned, then photoshopped, then converted to .gif can create some serious issues. Even differences between the quality or a digital camera, the condition of the sensors, etc., can cause colors to vary.

I'm still perplexed by people who worry about the color of their rifle.

But that's just me.
