I have seen quite a few UBR stocks in pics that members have posted.  I thought these weren't available yet?  Active source for the stocks?

Looks like standard production UBRs will be out around the end of this month.  Time to pick your color and figure out what other Magpul stuff you want when you place your order...

They have been on order for quite awhile, so I would certainly hope so, however, no one really knows who the Lords of shipping will cast their favor upon first.

+1 for John at Rainier. The guy's a class act. Top notch.

I 2nd that.  Rainier Arms is a top notch distributor and all the guys that work there are class guys.  I live just a few miles from the Rainier Arms shop/warehouse in Washington and have been able to meet and deal directly with John and David on several occasions.  They are top quality guys and awesome to deal with.  Ever since dealing with John and Ranier Arms for the first time about a year and a half ago, and haven't taken my AR related business anywhere else.  For those of you waiting for the UBR, or any other AR needs, I highly suggest dealing with Rainier Arms.  You won't be let down.

Here's a couple pics of my UBR.  Granted, these are wannabe Stickman pics and not nearly the quality as Stickman's pics.

The current UBR will work on an AR-10 with one of Slash's AR10 buffers and your rifle spring.

After a weekend in Alaska's backcountry on snowmobile with this slung over my back, I can safety say this is one honkin' strong stock. With slipstream blown snow building up on the rifle after 20 - 30 miles, it gets pretty crusty. One slap on the stock and the snow falls off. Grab the detent and open the stock and she's ready to go. Nice not to have to put your face on a cold receiver extension (yes, it's better putting your face on cold plastic).

Life's good with a UBR. Thanks, Magpul and Slash.

The tube has a pretty nice feel to it, and I can see why some people swear by them.
