Since the military SR25 based rifles all use SR25/DPMS based magazines, The .308 DPMS rifles use .SR25/DPMS 308 based magazines, the upcoming LWRC SABR ond .308 POF use DPMS/SR25 based mags, and the Massoud/.308 ACR uses SR25/DMPS based magazines I am guessing it is not a stretch to think that if Magpul makes a .308 based PMAG it would be based the SR25/DPMS magazine... is that correct? If that is correct there are curved 30 round, curved 20 round prototypes, and now it seems straight 20 round 5.56 PMAGS. Would the .308 PMAG be a straight body, 20 round design or something else? If you made a straight body 20 round and it sold well would there even be enough interest in a 30 round curved PMAG in .308 to justify its design and construction? Just wanting to see if a .308 PMAG is even on the radar for Magpul and, if so, what capacities and shapes you are considering. |
| I would love to see the .308 P-Mag for the SR-25/DPMS/Massound weapons systems. I am contemplating a purchase of several more prior to Jan09 and was looking a the DPMS (I am shooting the SR-25). If P-Mags were available, or could be available I would wait for them. |
