Masada optic question > Magpul

I know that the Masada is likely being designed to work with a variety of optics but is there one in particular that has shone through in testing as being a great match with the rifle?

Last night I pored over the great Masada article in the new SureFire Combat Tactics magazine and am getting stoked for the rifle... There were a lot of different optics used for the article (mainly it appeared, based on barrel length or "mission" for the rifle), and I want to start putting aside some $$$ here and there so I can get the best up front all at once.

Which Masada version were you looking at getting?

Ooogh, good question. Probably either a 16" or 18" barrelled version, nothing shorter.

I liked how the ACOG looked in some of the pics but that was about as far as I got.

I have a - Aimpoint Red dot & the Aim point 3x Magnifier on my AR, not sure If I will buy 2 more for the Masada ..or try something different, Like a EOTech , Trijacon, EO Tech, Aim Point.....they are all very high quality optics.... use what you like...

I want the 16" Masada , in OD Green.......

The Magpul Guy is using a Elcan Spectre DR. I would love to see one in person. The concept in interesting.

ok....I really like the Aimpoint red dot, with the Aimpoint 3x Magnifier. everything with mounts.. $ 1000.00

Of course I really like than new, Nikon Laser IRT 4x 12 x 42 $ 800.00

I am thinking EOTech for the Masada when I get one............and I want either the OD or black one myself as well
