I have a PRS and recently purchased a AP4 (dpms) and would like to move it to this rifle.  The rifle length buffer tube on the AP4 is the same as it is for AR15's, I know I need a different spring and buffer but my questions is will my AR15 PRS fit then.  When I look at the Magpul PRS stocks they list a PRS for .308 separately.  Just need to know what the difference is.

Tried sending them an email with no response, called tech support and just got voice mail...

Thanks,
DonT

The difference between the AR-15 and 10 is the size of the cheek peice.  The AR-10 is a bit shorter than the 15 for the longer charge handle.  If you're running a PRS on an AR-10 platform you need an AR-10 PRS.

Is it possible to just buy the cheek piece and change it out?

There are two parts to switch out and it it pretty easy. Give Tony a call at 1 877 4MAGPUL and he will hook you up. He has sent these parts out before and so knows the part# and prce.
