Just got 2 pmags to try out from Kiser munitions. Fast shipping! They both seemed fine when I pushed down on the followers..in and out pretty smooth. Then I loaded them up with 30 rounds of good old Wolf 62 grain polymer and stripped a round out. Guess what? the next round didn't pop up until I shook the mag or tapped it on the table. Same thing happened until I got down to about 20 rounds left in the mag. This happened with both of the mags. They are both 4/07 date code. My conclusion is that this can't be good for feeding when I actually fire the rifle. Anybody else have this problem or notice this? Please don't say that these need to be "boken in" or don't work with crappy WOLF ammo, etc. |
| Bought 3 PMags earlier this year, marked 03/07 and just got them out (finally) to the forest to go shooting. Used a RRA Entry Tac loaded with a SS109, AE 55gr. and XM193. No problems at all I am happy to say. Think I might buy some more but am wondering about the longevity of the plastic. |
This is a production issue with the mag not cooling to spec correctly during molding. We have gauges that weed out most of these during inspection and assembly. Just send those back to my attention (Richard) and we will send out replacements ASAP. |
