Since this topic is tacked I thought it would be a good place to show some comparision pics of the Colt Advanced Rifle Stock (ACR) made fro the unfunded Army program in the 1980s and the Crane stock which was released a decade later. It is unknown to me who the actual designer of the ACR was but he was ahead of his time.

If you want a ACR Copy I know there is a company planning to make one soon. Originals are rare and even more expensive than the Crane.

Any update on the ACR buttstock copy?

It wasn't us who were making it. I will check and see what happened to that project.
