Late Saturday, I saw your BLACKRIFLE11 discount and turned my my best friend on to your site. He ordered several M4 kits just before the deadline and got an invoice reflecting the discount. He was happy. I thought all was good.
Today, I found out his credit card was charged substantially more than the invoiced amount. He called and was told the credit card company did not return the approval until after 23:59 EST. Because of the delay from the credit card company, Del-ton would not honor the discount. Based on that information, he canceled his order. He seemed pretty disappointed. Since he's generally not one to blow his own horn, I'm fairly sure he didn't tell you his background or the intended use for those kits. My best friend has been in the Army for 25 years. He enlisted in 1986 and rose to Staff Sgt. in artillery. He received a commission about decade ago and is now a Captain. He has been deployed to the middle east several times. One of the kits was for him. It would have been his first build. His oldest son enlisted in the Army several years ago and is now deployed in Iraq. A second kit was for him. His son had no idea it was coming. I was looking forward to helping assemble both. I ordered several lowers from Spike's in anticipation of these builds. My buddy doesn't know I ordered the lowers as gifts for him and his son. So, I'm a little disappointed too. Please know, I am in no way saying your decision was wrong. It's your business and you are entitled to run it any way you see fit. It is entirely your call as to when a discount is honored or refused. But I did want you to know there was a bit little more to that order than may have met the eye. Thanks for your time. James |

James, have your friend to call me. If his order was placed during sale time and he entered in the coupon code, then there should be no reason that the discount wouldn't be applied. It sounds like he may have placed more than one order accidentally, considering the substantial amount that was more than invoiced.
The most common mistake when placing orders is an incorrect billing address is entered. If this is the case, then the total amount of the order will be held (for security purposes) and the order will be cancelled due to mismatch information. Most people will continue to place the order until they get an order number and end up maxing out their card. Have your friend call me and I will look at his account.
