I finally got my green middy to the range today for sighting in.  I was there with a buddy who wanted to shoot one of my pistols he was thinking about buying so I was pressed for time.  I took an assortment of ammo, used USGI 20 round mags and it performed flawlessly.  I boresnaked it and squirted CLP on the bolt and had at it.  3 round groups at 25 yards to get to zero then moved to 50 yards for break in and ammo function check.

Winchester Q3131A no problem, grouped about 1 1/4 inch (10 rounds) maybe 1 shot every 2-3 seconds
Federal 50gr HP- no problem, grouped about 1 1/4 inch for 10 rounds
Wolf black box 55gr fmj- no problems, about 1 1/2 inch for 10 rounds
Brown Bear 62 gr HP- no problems, about 1 3/4 inch with vertical stringing for 10 rounds
My reloads 55 gr fmj- no problems, group about 1 1/4 inch for 10 rounds

The biggest drawback was I was short on time and I forgot my sight adjustment tool.  Had to use a bullet tip which for me is a little slower than the purpose made tool.   All in all a good quick trip to the range.  No disappointments whatsoever with my kit gun.

Oh Yeah, I voided my warrantee too!  I don't care about that, I wanted to see if it would run the Wolf and I reload for everything I shoot except my Glock 23 but that is because I don't have dies yet.

I haven't shot wolf with mine and I plan not to unless necessary; I have a Del-Ton built rifle.  As far as the sight adjustment tool goes... dude, I used a bullet tip and a stick to adjust it.  Why would you need a tool????

(i'll get a tool one day but you gotta do what you gotta do)

Yeah, I usually use needle nose pliers and a bullet tip.  No other tools needed.

Yep... gotta do what you gotta do.  It's not fine china, you don't have to be gentle with it.
