I just placed my order today (29465... Ouch I know... but 12 to 16 weeks will go by fast enough) with Del Ton Inc. Today is also the first time I saw this forum.
While researching kits online, I picked Del Ton because they had quality parts at a good price. From everything I've read here today, I have to say I'm amazed at this company. People here are not only are asking general questions, but specific order related questions... even changing their orders... on a forum ...AND THEY GETTING RESPONSES. Timely honest responses. I've never seen customer service like this, and yet people are still complaining. Del Ton didn't cause this buying spree of evil black guns, BUT these do seem to be doing everything they can to get them out the door to us. Maybe after receiving this high level of customer service for a while, I'll too become indignant. Right now after everything I've read today, I just feel relief to have selected such an outstanding company. Dave |

i to chose del-ton before i found this forum. mainly because i liked the build your own rifle kit. im pretty relieved that i did. i feel sorry for the other people who ordered from companies and have NO IDEA whats going on.
i've been waiting for 6 weeks already, and just to prepare you, i think orders are closer to the 16 week mark. |

I ordered mine about mid November as well, and even though I am many weeks from receiving my kit...I don't mind waiting one bit. I was very close to spending $1100 on a rifle at a local store I didn't even like because I was already in panic mode. So in that respect, I'm spending less money for a better product and customized exactly how I like. They even let me change my order 2 months after ordering it. I'm impressed! |

I just ordered my second kit from them late yesterday (#295XX). I realize it'll be a long wait, but there's enough to keep me busy till then. And I can still go out to shoot the first one I got last year. Customer service and quality from these guys is excellent. There are few other companies (in any industry) you can say that about; the only other one that comes to mind right now is Van's Aircraft. |

I finally took the plunge and ordered my first Kit and a Stripped Lower late last night/early this morning, (depending on your Time Zone), Order #(s) 2969X. From everyones comments It sounds like I picked a quality company to do business with. I've circled May on my calendar, and now we play the waiting game.
