Well got the call and will be going back to Haiti for the second time. First time was Uphold Democracy. The place sucked. Still say the place was the worst shit hole I have ever been. This time it is going to be worse. Anyone else get the call?

I was there for uphold democracy also what unit were you in. I was in the 52nd engineers out of Ft. carson Colorado. I was living at camp Dragon. Yes you are right that place is a shithole , good luck.

We are getting ready to go. LOTS of BS admin stuff to take care of prior to departure. CAN'T WAIT! (but that's all I've been doing).

Camp Falcon West. Worked across the main road in the wear houses with the 3rd Herd out of OK. i was Air Guard then to, just attached to them. Was there from 15 Dec 1994-15 Mar 1995

Boy, This place has not change one bit. still the rotten stench. One thing that has floored me has been the call to prayer. I have heard it twice now. Very weard that the Muslims have shown up here with in the past 15 years.

you guys keep you heads down and watch yourselfs.

My Air Cavalry unit was there for 4 months patrolling offshore before you guys got there.

I was sitting on a frigate deck in Port-au-Prince Bay waiting for the 82nd to invade.

Place sucked then, probably sucks worse now.

I was in Port Au Prince in October-November 94 with 159th Aviation out of Bragg supporting 10th Mountain's aviation assets.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. You mil guys can have that place. I was there with my USAR team (Miami Dade), thanks again to the ATAC guys and the 82nd guys.

Beleve me I don't won't to be here eather. This place sucks even worse that the first time. I have been all over town and everthing looks worse than before. even with out the earthquake damage.
