| Well kinda. I am currently on IRR and today I talked to a prior service recruiter about getting with a reserve unit. I got to tell you I never thought I would ever be back in a Marine Corps. uniform and if you had told me I would be doing this 2-3 years ago I would have laughed in your face. I guess once you get a few years more mature you actually appreciate things a little more. I am so excited about this, I have a great civilian job and this is exactly what I have been wanting for a long time. I always loved being in the Corps. but I let too many negative people around me influence me into getting out. Well getting out and not transitioning into a reserve unit at least. I have a meeting to go talk with the unit First Sergeant this week and doo all the paperwork on shit. Anyone else do this. Oh yea thanks to The Bald Monk for your help. |
