Is it possible to attend an online university, while being in a seperate ROTC program. My question  is this I may have interest in Embry Riddle Aerospace Degrees, however I have no interest in moving all the way across the country to Florida. Futhermore, I was rather stay at a local AFROTC unit, which is say two hours away instead of a week or more.

Anyone know the answer to this?

Thanks

...why don't you call the ROTC at the school and find out... And online school because youre too afraid to move across the country isn't a good excuse.

Not necessarily afraid, I just like where I live a lot. Even the same state would be appropriate. However, clear across the country no, unless I can help it. I did email the local ROTC, and am waiting for the answer

phone calls are always better. I seriously doubt that you will be able to take online courses and do ROTC at a college... something just doesn't seem kosher.... could be wrong

Um, locality whilst pursuing a career as an officer would be the last of your worries I would think. Embry Riddle is one of the preeminent schools concerning aeronautics and if you can get in and go, location should be the least of your worries. Good luck with all that. I know that when we are dealing with people applying for commission in my corps, online work is less than desirable.
