a few more pics... this one is of "kenny" the bird that we didn't return home with...but her pilot did!!!we lost her on the 3rd night her first combat mission there: [image]http://images.freepichosting.com/2001-11-30-11-11-12-3456.jpg [/image] a tribute too the pilot... while on the ground behind the lines he had a US flag that he was flying for a member of our squadron... he had the flag in his flight suit over his heart. It provided comfort too him until he could be rescued: [image]http://images.freepichosting.com/2001-11-30-11-11-12-9454.gif [/image] this pic is our high flyer for combat sorties. I designed the mission tag and personally applied each one... this one also has the mission tag for A/C 806 "kenny" it was added with permission by my CO too honor 806 since she didn't return too recieve her "tag": [image]http://images.freepichosting.com/2001-11-30-11-11-12-1399.jpg [/image] |
