| Somebody told me that since I was military I could but reletivly new firearms from the military depot at a reduced price. Does anyone have any info on this. It might not be true but it would be cool if it was. |

As been previously stated, you can get Garands, M1 Carbines, 1903's, and 1917 Enfields through the Civilian Marksmanship Program. Handgun sales through the CMP were stopped years ago. A friend of mine has a match grade 1911 shipped from the Army Marksmanship Unit at Ft. Benning still in the original VCI packaging and another that we opened up and lubed and test fired. You can also get ammo from the CMP as well. |
The PX at both Lejeune and Pendleton have a great selection of new guns. Lejeune was probably one of the best places price wise to buy new stuff.....and only like a $10 fee if you bought somewhere and had it shipped there. |
