Today was a good day. I am a member of the Leathernecks MC (Iwo Jima chapter) and we hauled a load of stuff to the Veterans nursing home in Spring City PA. Books, clothes, games, etc. I met a Navy Corpsman that landed on Guam at age 15. I met a medic from the 106th ID who was at the Bulge. It was an honor to spend time with these men on Fathers Day and hear their stories. |
