ok, so i scored a 129 on my AFAST and i have my flight physical scheduled for next week. i almost have my packet together for WOCS and IERW. hopefully in the next 6-12 months i will be on my way to being a UH-60 pilot. wish me luck. |
i've kinda done my application process in reverse. you're supposed to do the AFAST first, then do your flight physical, then do all the paperwork. get a study guide from barnes and noble and go through the study guide a few times. it's not that hard of a test. main thing is try to stay motivated and get your paperwork done while you wait to do the other parts of the process. |

As far as WOCS goes, get used to feeling like you are behind and not doing well. They increase the stress level on you by giving you 100 things to do, and time to perhaps do 12... and the important thing is not how many of the things you get done, but WHAT you get done. They want to see if you can set priorities and make decisions under stress. Nothing you do the first 2-3 weeks will be right, even if it is they will find something wrong.... it is all about the stress. Download and be able to quote all this from memory, and you will be ahead of the game. |
