Specifically the 40th MP Co? Just received an email from them requesting volunteers who will go to MOSQ then directly to MOB. Sounds like a good opportunity since there's never a request for my MOS, but I know very little of the mission of a deployed MP unit. Thanks. |
| Most likely your mission will be convoy security, Base security, roaming patrols, foot patrols and VIP security. Thats what i did overthere and i was with an MP Co. It was cool because there is so many jobs, and you are heavily armed, but because you are so versitile you will be used alot. |

Same here; most of the missions I took part in were escorting convoys from our base of operations at CSC Scania to Baghdad throuhg MSR Tampa and Route Irish along with vehicle patrols, moving prisoners from point A to point B and guarding relay points and our FOB. Prior to that, our unit was running the APOD in Kuwait and inspecting vehicles being loaded on to ships at KNB and planes at the Kuwait Intl. Airport. A little of everything. |
